摘要：
In this paper, we study the total graph of a ring and determine its matching, factors and arboricity. We find the independence number of the line graph of the total graph of a ring and give complete characterization of rings for which diam L(T(Gamma(R))) =, < or > diam T(Gamma(R)). We find the crossing number of all local rings with some bounds in the cardinality of zero divisors and also determine the crossing number of all finite rings with the genus at most two.
