MACROECONOMIC DETERMINANTS OF DOMESTIC PRIVATE INVESTMENT IN AFRICA - AN EMPIRICAL-ANALYSIS

The purpose of this article is to investigate the determinants of private investment activity in the empirical context of African countries. The article is structured as follows: Section II reviews recent trends in private investment and macroeconomic indicators in selected African countries; Section III provides a literature review and outlines several hypotheses to be tested.
