摘要
Correlations of the chromatographic retention of alkylphenols with their boiling points, molecular refraction and ionization constants were studied. The correlations were obeyed better for the alkylphenol groups which differ in the degree of shielding of the hydroxyl group. The dependences are approximated most exactly for alkylphenols with substituents at positions 2 and 6 by a four-factor equation and for the other phenols by a eight-factor equation which include the Van der Waals volume and connectivity indices of the first five orders as independent variables. © 1990.
