PUBLIC PROCUREMENT AND COMPETITION. THE NEW EU DIRECTIVE ON PUBLIC PROCUREMENT

This article analyzes the new regulation of public procurement established by the new Directive 2014/24/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 February 2014 on public contracts in the light of competition law. The work also focuses on the dysfunctions generated by the Administration which may be harmful to the public interest and therefore worthy of being taken into account and avoided as far as possible to contribute fairly and efficiently the State Welfare.
