摘要
To promote the effective development of superconducting magnetic separation technology and its practical industrial application for Kaolin clay beneficiation, the Institute of Electrical Engineering and the Cryogenic Laboratory, Academia Sinica are jointly working on the development of an industrial prototype superconducting magnetic separator. For this reciprocating type separator with horizontal axis, a superconducting magnet system consisting of a 0.5 m warm bore, 0.8 m long, 4 T central field high current density superconducting solenoid, a horizontal dewar and a 10 1/h close-loop helium liquefier is designed and under development. The main consideration in design and the main experience in development and construction are summarized.
