摘要：
The authors summarize the current concepts on acute coronary syndrome, with special attention to acute myocardial infarction. In this topic, etiology, pathophysiology and treatment are analyzed. The current management of acute myocardial infarction with thrombolytic therapy, streptokinase and tissue type plasminogen activator, and angioplasty are discussed. The treatment of hemorrhage, a common complication of thrombolytic therapy, is also included in this article.
