The youth semantics of love: a sociological reading

Recent surveys on young's values claim that love is a new life's priority in the issues of the new generations. In this article we underline that young people are subject to a 'triple-pressure' - socio-psychological, generational and cultural - that seems to promote and encourage strategies oriented to affective experimentation. By a secondary analysis on the data available regards the new representation of the young citizens, we claim that is possible to identify some fundamental dimensions that characterize the youth's semantics of love, and so we analyze these findings by contemporary sociological literature.
