MAPPING OF POLYPEPTIDE REINITIATION SITES WITH IN BETA-GALACTOSIDASE STRUCTURAL GENE

摘要
A method is described for mapping reinitiation sites within structural genes. The mapping techniques are used to demonstrate the presence of two such sites in the z gene of the lac operon. The results suggest that the reinitiation sequence is not AUG acting alone. © 1969.
