摘要：
Under an appropriate didtribution of lateral mass flux at the wall, an exact solution is obtained for the problem of transient film condensation in a porous medium along a vertical surface. The analysis shows that the convective term in the x-axis direction does not play any important role during the transient period hence can be neglected. © 1990.
