PUBLIC-RELATIONS IN THE GLOBAL VILLAGE - AN AMERICAN PERSPECTIVE

The world has become so small and so close that one can no longer afford to ignore countries, or Cultures, or societies, or politics, or business practices other than one's own. This new "one world" is presenting great challenges and new opportunities to thc public relations profession, writes Joe Epley. He originally presented these remarks at a conference of the European Association of Public Relations Consultants in Barcelona, Spain, on April 26, 1991.
