摘要:
How do teenagers from communities in social vulnerability situation perceive themselves before the ideology of domination and exclusion around them? This article suggests a possibility of how the audiovisual can be a tool in the education and the discussion about concepts of belonging, stigmas, ideology and identities of teenagers. This research, which resulted in the dissertation defended in 2015, is an immersion of an audiovisual production process (with the direct participation of teenagers producing / telling their own histories), which worked these concepts with the teenagers from Reolon community in Caxias do Sul, RS. The study aimed to work on a humanizing and liberating education, inspired by the precepts of Paulo Freire (1996, 2004, 2007) and talking to the theorists Honneth (2003), Martin-Barbero (2001), Pecheux (1999), Bourdieu (2010; 1974), Canclini (1984, 1999), Hall (2005) and Goffman (1988). The questions "How do people see me? How do I see myself?" - were methodological techniques in audiovisual production allowing reflection and revealing clues to the investigation of how such a teenager perceives the space around him or her and, as he or she deals with the stigma. What do the "others" talk about the community? (How do people see me?) How does the teenager develop a sense of identity and belonging? (How do I see myself?) The guiding method was the Phenomenological-hermeneutic, starting from a Participating Observation supported by four methodological techniques: Case Study, In-Depth Interviews, Content Analysis and Discourse Analysis.
