摘要
The mechanical properties from 300 to 77 K of an Fe28.3Mn-5.38Al-1.04C-0.24Si alloy were studied. It was found that this alloy possesses high strength, good ductility and high impact toughness. At 77 K, this alloy has 1112 MPa yield stress, 1536 MPa ultimate tensile strength, 28% total elongation and 72 J Charpy V-notch impact energy. After aging, the Charpy V-notch impact energy at 300 K is much reduced, and also falls continuously with decreasing temperature. The impact energy is less than 10 J and the fracture surface becomes mainly intergranular at temperatures below 183 K.
