Development of a method for the quantitative and qualitative determination of mineral oil, natural and synthetic esters, diglycerides and partial esters, fatty acids, polar compounds and emulsifiers in rolling oils and emulsions on the basis of chromatography. Investigation of a rolling oil in as-delivered condition, in the storage tank and in the oiling machine of a pickling plant. Analysis of a rolling emulsion and change of its composition during rolling. Modification of the analytical method to enable the analysis also of the oil film on the sheet surface before and after cold rolling. Conclusions.
