摘要
Low temperature magnetizations of Y(Co(1-x)M(x))(2) M = Ni, Fe or Ni1/2Fe1/2, 0.00 less than or equal to x less than or equal to 0.03, have been measured in pulsed high magnetic fields up to 100 T with a special interest in the role of the density of states in the metamagnetic transition of YCo2. Systematic variation of the critical field is obtained. The results are compared with the numerical band calculations by self consistent tight binding approximation.
