摘要：
The CORINE Land Cover is the European Community project whose aim is to create a consistent and compatible digital database of land cover of Europe on the scale 1:100 000 by application of satellite images. In 1993 the Slovak Republic joined this project. Institute of Geography of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, is responsible for the first stage of the project solution - the analogue interpretation of satellite images. The interpretation of images will be finished in July 1995.
