A first attempt to take into account nonlinear optical behaviour in diffusive media has been made by Agranovich and Kravtsov [Phys. Rev, B 44 (1991) 4931]. We introduce an iterative procedure in order to calculate the influence of a nonlinear dielectric constant chi(3)(omega,omega,-omega) on diffusion of light in disordered materials. From our theory we are able to determine the radius of convergence which is found to be small, but finite. Special attention is paid to the enhanced backscattering cone. Moreover, we investigate the situation of a thin nonlinear layer in a disordered composite.
