EQUATION OF STATE AND INTERATOMIC POTENTIAL OF LIQUID ARGON AND NEON

摘要
Values for the first quantum correction to the equation of state of a simple liquid are determined from Verlet's molecular dynamics data on Lennard-Jones fluids. Recent experimental curves of Lippold on the equation of state of liquid argon and neon are fitted to the theoretical values. The obtained potential parameters agree well with virial and solid state values for argon, whereas for neon they are closer to solid-state than to virial values. © 1969.
