摘要
For elastodynamic problems in an elastic half-space, the idea of describing the displacement variation on the free ground surface outside the region being studied with the fundamental solution in a full space is presented in the paper. Then a corresponding mapped infinite boundary element is constructed for the problems of anti-plane motion. The computed results show that such an element can be applied effectively to obtain high-precision solutions.
