It is shown that existing solutions are inadequate for analyzing heat transfer in the case of rod flow with low Peclet numbers. New solutions for physically real variants of type I and II boundary conditions are obtained for a circular pipe with isothermal and adiabatic conditions at the inlet to the heating zone.
