DIELECTRIC-CONSTANT MEASUREMENT OF FERROELECTRIC SOLID-SOLUTIONS OF POTASSIUM-CESIUM VANADATE AND POTASSIUM-LITHIUM VANADATE

Dielectric properties of solid solutions of potassium-cesium vanadate and potassium-lithium vanadate have been studied covering their transition points, following the method based on comparison of capacities. The dielectric constant (epsilon) shows a sharp peak at a phase transition in all the compositions. The Curie temperature as well as the epsilon of the solid solutions, potassium-cesium vanadate decreases with the increase of potassium vanadate concentration. However, the Curie temperature and epsilon increase for the solid solutions of potassium-lithium vanadate with the increase of potassium vanadate concentration.
