The folding number of poly(tetrahydrofuran) (PTHF) crystallites in a poly(tetrahydrofuran-b-isoprene) block copolymer was calculated from the degree of polymerizations, densities, degree of crystallinity, and domain sizes. The crystallites of outer PTHF domain consist of crystallites with foldings but not fringed micelles. The calculated folding number (n - 1) based on the data for the polyisoprene (PIP) and PTHF domains were 22.6 and 27.6, respectively. The calculated PIP and PTHF domain sizes based on n values were not equal to the experimental data. The experimental densities of PIP and amorphous PTHF are not equal to the reference values because the microphase separated structure is not in an equilibrium state.
