摘要
This paper addresses the problem of preservation of national and cultural identity in a homogenization of culture and cultural differences. As an example of preservation of national uniqueness serves contemporary German cinema and the works of individual directors. The author attempts to define the continuity between the directors relating to the field of "New German Cinema" (70-80-ies.), and the directors of our time. To identify the key features of the association "Berlin School" as the main center of modern cinematic life in Germany is also an important task of this article.
