摘要：
We present the sources of theoretical and practical ideas integrated into the theory of rational-emotive behavioral therapy due to Ellis, one of the founders of the cognitive tradition in psychotherapy. Anthropological notions underlying Ellis's therapeutic model are reconstructed showing their relationship with Dewey's philosophy of pragmatism.
