摘要：
The problem of metal speciation in lake sediments from Antarctica was investigated both with selective extraction procedures and with the study of organic matter. Particular attention was devoted to the characterization of humic compounds present in the sediments since humic and fulvic acids are good complexing agents for metals. Humic substances extracted from the lake sediments were compared with those present in the soil near the lake.
