摘要
This article presents the partial results of a research project that is nearing completion within the research group in Educational Policy at the PPGE at Uninove-SP. Using the documents that present the official curriculum of Sao Paulo State as reference, its objective is to analyze the conception of the "world of labor" that is presented to middle school students and how this concept reveals itself in the discipline of Sociology. As guiding elements of analysis, we used the categories of strangeness and dehumanization as in the theorizing of Lessa (2000) which in its turn use the definitions postulated by Lukacs, who shows us how the curriculum proposal not only provides conditions for the critical formation but at the same time hinders this formation since the analysis that it makes disregards and naturalizes the social processes.
