摘要
The methods allowing to increase the effieicny of 3-mu m lasers based on YSGG:Cr:Er crystals are investigated. Due to impurity quenching of luminescence from the lower working level (4)I(13/2)Er(3+) the lasers can operate at high pumping pulse frequency. It is shown that the coactivation of Er(3+) ions by Pr(3+) and Ho(3+) ions in these crystals enables one to avoid loss in laser efficiency the pumping pulse repetition rate up to 300 Hz.
