A VIEW ON THE NATIONAL FOREST (FLONA) OF CHAPECO: HOW THE ENVIRONMENTAL POPULATION INTERPRETES THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SOCIETY AND NATURE

Human society changed the nature, in speech and in practice in different ways, according to the intentions and the prevailing cultures. This article aims to understand how subjects interpret the relationship between society and nature, by studying the surrounding population of the National Forest Chapeco. Using the methodological triangle, 49 subjects participated, and the data were analyzed qualitatively through categorization and discussion with authors that discuss this relationship. We can see the study area is conflicting. Many individuals believe that this relationship does not exist. Of those that confirmed the relationship, believe that the relationship coexists through "aid" between them. It is, therefore, to understand the perceptions of the population is essential in order to assist in the maintenance process of the place.
