摘要:
When superconducting cables or magnets are being designed, their sizes and overall current are often specified and the only option is to determine the copper to superconductor (Cu/SC) ratio. The thermal equilibrium equation has been solved numerically to find the most stable Cu/SC ratio, which is influenced by the spatial length of the disturbance, the conductor current and the magnetic field. The calculated value of the most stable Cu/SC ratio is presented for various conditions.
