STABILITY-CONSTANTS OF HYDROLYZED FORMS OF AMERICIUM(III) AND SOLUBILITY PRODUCT OF ITS HYDROXIDE

摘要：
The solubility of americium(III) hydroxide in solutions with various pH values from 5.15 to 9.80 and mu = 3 has been determined at a temperature of 25 +/- 0.5-degrees-C. The data obtained has been used to calculate the stability constants of the hydroxo complexes of americium(III) and the solubility product of its hydroxide on an Iskra-226 computer. The following combination was found to be the most probable when the evaluations were carried out according to the lambda criterion: beta-1 = 3.6.10(7), beta-2 = 5.5.10(14), beta-3 = 3.6.10(21).
