摘要：
In this paper we consider the issue of representative volumes to determine the volume averaged effective elastic moduli for a class of composite materials with periodic structures. The existence of representative volumes under a specific group of homogeneous boundary conditions is proved and the dependence of effective elastic moduli on homogeneous boundary conditions is discussed.
