摘要
Teaching medicine is an exciting and stimulating process. Using more effective teaching methods will enhance the experience for all concerned. Research and experience in adult learning show that instruction of well-motivated learners should place more emphasis on empowering them to identify their own needs and enabling them to seek answers more independently. Good teaching methods will improve the process of acquiring, retaining, and appropriately utilizing the complex skills and knowledge needed for practice of medicine. © 1994 Society of General Internal Medicine.
