BIODIESEL FROM BEEF TALLOW: A BIBLIOMETRIC STUDY

摘要：
Tallow is an raw material obtained from the slaughtering of bovine in slaughterhouses and fridges and is one of the main raw materials for the production of biodiesel in Brazil. Use of this residue in biodiesel production causes not only the expansion of biofuel production, but also provides an environmentally friendly way to discard of this input. The purpose of this paper is to make a bibliometric study on biodiesel from tallow seeking to identify the state of the art of this raw material, with regard the production of biodiesel. The survey reveals that in the last five years there was an increasing number of publications with reference to beef tallow biodiesel and observes a concentration of studies on the physicochemical properties and the processes of production of biodiesel.
