The text presented here reflects on the meaning of untimeliness, in Nietzsche, and on the nature of the untimely, both in philosophy of the tragic as well as in Nietzsche's proclamation of the return of the tragic in Western culture, as exhibited in The Birth of Tragedy and in later works.
