摘要
This paper describes an AI software development environment based on the multiple programming paradigm language TAO, implemented on the AI-Workstation ELIS. The language TAO supports the object-oriented programming paradigm and the logic programming paradigm within the frame work of the Lisp language. The TAO/ELIS system consists of an interpreter-centered language processor, a multiprogramming kernel, a window system, a screen text editor, a network system, a Japanese text input facility and many other tools.
