VIBRATIONAL MAGNETISM OF HIGHLY SYMMETRICAL MOLECULES - THE MOLECULAR ION H-3+

A study is made of the magnetic moment of the vibrationally excited molecules of the symmetric top type in the states with a non-zero vibrational angular momentum. The formula is obtained for the electronic contribution to the vibrational magnetic moment connected with the vibronic interactions in the molecule. Calculations of the vibrational g-factor of the molecular ion H-3+ are carried out in the SCF approximation.
