摘要：
The concentration of polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB) congeners, chlorobenzenes, Lindane and other HCH isomers and DDT with its metabolites have been determined in dated sediment cores of Lake Garda (Italy). Peak concentrations were found to occur in the 1970s for PCBs and DDT in good agreement with production and usage history. Lindane and possibly chlorobenzenes continue to accumulate in the 1980s. The overall contamination level of organochlorine compounds (OCs) is comparable with other slightly polluted lakes in Europe and North America.
