摘要：

Governments based on authoritarianism always use mechanisms in order to get membership and consensus from the population, such as the ideological advertisement. This paper approaches this process in the Brazilian Military Dictatorship by analysing textbooks of the Moral and Civic Education, besides the practice of sports in youth education spaces. In addition, it focuses also on body and mental hygiene as means of getting obedience, increasing the value of work and avoiding social conflicts.
