LOWEST ENERGY TRIPLET-STATES OF GROUP VB HYDRIDES - NH3 (ND3) AND PH3

摘要
Low energy electron impact and high scattering an e energy loss spectra allowed for observation of the lowest energy triplet states of NH3, ND3 and PH3. Three bending levels of the 3A2" states of NH3 have been observed at 5.36, 5.48 and 5.60 eV. In ND3 four levels have been observed beginning at 5.42 eV with a spacing of 0.093 eV. In PH3 a low intensity broad and structureless band with maximum around 6 eV is attributed to the 3A2" state.
