摘要
Currently, the educational system based on studying on rote learning -ostensibly-has failed as a step to empowering students with the knowledge and skills necessary to practise a profession. For that, this article analyzes the application of the Thinking-based learning theory's, their methodology and scientific techniques in higher education. Thus, first, this paper will examine the principles that guide this typology of learning. Later, it will study diversity of techniques and instruments used in the class. Finally, it will be explained examples of the Thinking-based learning implementation into the university classroom, at the law school, in criminal law. In this way, the educational system will achieve the targets effectively, within the university education, and the university students will be able to understand, reflect, think and consider - in other words- all individuals will be trained to exercise a certain profession.
