摘要
The article describes empirical typology of transition from executive activity to management, using teaching activity as an example. There were estimated determinative criteria, which were taken as the group of personal and situational factors, mainly affecting the transition, and the level of psychological readiness for the transition There are three types of transition. "Type A" is characterized by dependence only on personal reasons, but not situational factors. The main characteristic of the transition "type B" is situational and personal dependence. The transition in this case is very variable, which is the cause of existence in the "type B" two subtypes and four groups. Mostly situational conditionality is the main feature of the transition from executive (teaching) activity to management "type C". This type is separated into two subtypes, distinguished by the target group.
