摘要
This paper investigated the removal of Cr (VI) ions from aqueous solutions using blast furnace slag with batch adsorption. The paper's objective was to compare different adsorption isotherms (Freundlich, Langmiur 1, Langmuir 2, Langmuir 3, Langmuir 4, Dubinin-Radushkevich, Eadie-Hoffstee and Temkin) by applying the method of linear regression analysis. The comparison of the correlation coefficients of applied isotherms revealed that the blast furnace slag / Cr (VI) system can be best described with the Langmuir 2 and Dubinin-Radushkevich equations. However, the obtained results indicate that other investigated isotherms can also be successfully used for description of experimental data.
