CAN A TEACHER TAKE ON THE PROFESSIONAL ROLE OF AN EDUCATIONAL PSYCHOLOGIST?

摘要
The purpose of this article is twofold: first, a brief reflection on the possible causes that determine the current decline in educational guidance, despite the economic advances that have occurred in Spain in recent decades, was done; and secondly, based on the existing legal framework, we present a proposal carried by general consent, in which the Educational Administration in conjunction with universities and professional schools, promote an intervention model consistent with the training and professional qualifications on the basis of existing quality standards in developed countries, and where the intrusiveness versus professionalism make a difference in effectiveness, efficiency and functionality of psychoeducational intervention services.
