摘要
We present the results of theoretical investigations concerning the quasistationary evaporation of freely falling droplets in the continuum regime. The droplet is contained in humid air, and evaporation is accompanied by simultaneous condensation of water vapour at the droplet surface. The mathematical model is based on simultaneous numerical solution of equations governing mass and heat transfer outside the droplet. Numerical results show the influence of the relative humidity on the evaporation rate and on the deposition of liquid ammonia.
