摘要
Our work focuses on the subject topic of exile in two poets that belong to two different periods and circumstances but nevertheless are connected by Spain and its culture, on the one hand, and by the bitter taste of exile on the other hand. They are Emilio Prados, who died in exile in Mexico, and the Iraqi Muhsin Al- Ramli, exiled in Spain from 1995 until now. Through this work we will approach two books of poems that are very representative of their exile periods: " Jardin Cerrado" (Closed Garden), by Emilio Prados, and " Todos somos viudos de las respuestas" (We Are All Widows of the Answers), by Muhsin Al- Ramli. Both works offer a universal language not constrained by time that expresses concerns such as the memories of the past, the nostalgia of a lost paradise and a tormented poetic.
