SPONTANEOUS SYMMETRY-BREAKING IN THE RELATIVISTIC MODEL OF ANYON SUPERCONDUCTIVITY

摘要
We consider the renormalizable Abelian Chern-Simons field theory with matter in 2 + 1 dimensions which is claimed to be an effective model for anyon High-T(c) superconductivity. It is shown that a second-order phase transition occurs to a phase with nonzero anomalous v.e.v. <psi-psi> not-equal 0. This phenomenon can be interpreted as a formation of a condensate of Cooper pairs and leads to spontaneous breaking of the gauge invariance accompanied by the appearance of massless fermion excitations.
