摘要：
The title compound, C17H15N5O4, was obtained via the condensation of 3-ethoxy-2[2-(4-nitrophenyl)hydrazono]-3oxopropanoic acid with 1,2-diaminobenzene. In the molecule, the dihedral angles between the acetate group and the two aromatic subunits (benzimidazole and nitrophenylhydrazone) are 7.35 (9) and 18.23 (9)degrees, respectively. Intramolecular N H center dot center dot center dot O and N-H center dot center dot center dot N contacts occur. In the crystal, C-H center dot center dot center dot O and N-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonds link the molecules into chains along the b-axis direction.
