摘要
The Artificial Intelligence approach is a good solving method for practical applications due to the complexity of scheduling problems. However; the Al methods should be applied when traditional methods do not provide satisfactory answers. On the other hand, both approaches are complementary and to achieve best results both should be applied whenever they may be used efficiently. The article presents a concept of the hybrid system of solving scheduling problems ORGPLAN3. The system is based on previous version ORGPLAN1 and ORGPLAN2. It employs both numerical and symbolic computation algorithms and as far as knowledge representation of the problem is concerned, both mathematical model and frame-based representation are applied.
