摘要
After Pope Francis' election, the Northern hemisphere has felt how strong the Holy Spirit is blowing from Southern hemisphere. It is not matter just of ecclesiastical style, in different acts or language, but it is matter of renewed theological sources accessed by Pope Francis, and forgotten by many people in the Church. Beyond the Latin-American documents as Medellin and Aparecida, the "People Theology" has a significant role for the present pontificate: it is a specific current of thought in the theology of liberation - with own characteristics - as said Gustavo Gutierrez, whose first authors were Lucio Gera and Rafael Tello. Thus, is very important to know the People Theology's guidelines for better understand Pope Francis. In this paper, Author proposes three topics: what is People Theology; whether People Theology belongs or not to the Liberation Theology; the convergences between People Theology and Pope Francis' theological-pastoral emphasis - specially in his Apostolic Exhortation Evangelii gaudium.
