FURFURAL AND N-METHYLPYRROLIDONE IN LUBRICATING OIL REFINING - A COMPARATIVE-STUDY

摘要
Vacuum distillate from the Soviet "pipeline" crude oil was refined by extraction with N-methylpyrrolidone-2 or furfural. The extraction was carried out by a batch method and by continuous counter-current process. It could be demonstrated that N-methylpyrrolidone gave products of better parameters.
