摘要
Demographic information available in Cinunuk Village is still in the form of information of population data presented in the form of irregular area graph picture. For example, to find information of residence of a region still use manual data search system one by one. As time passes then the data will grow more and more, with still use manual search system then will take enough time.Given these problems, the village needs a geographic mapping system that can facilitate citizens and audit bodies to find out population information. In this paper aims to present the mapping in a region by providing border area information and demographic mapping data which is displayed in the form of digital maps. This design uses a direct observation model of the location to determine the Keyhole Markup Language (KML) that serves to map the region with google Maps Fire and is displayed on Cinunuk Village website. From the design result of geographic information system application of this area mapping using questionnaire as a test tool, the average respondent said the application is running well and very useful because it facilitates the village head, village service staff and villagers to look for mapping information of the area that aims to build smart village.
